For the built up Rathnaja has given for making his second film ‘Honganasu’ and his hot headed nature the result of the film is lackadaisical. In showcasing the pure affection of ‘Attige Maidhuna’ (Sister in law and brother in law) he crosses the border.
Yet another challenging star Darshan film has come with usual run of the mill contents. Darshan looks bit different from his hair style and as usual worked very hard in the action scenes. This no doubt a paisa vasool treat for his fans even before the Sankranthi festival.
Director Prem with lovely track record in his maiden film as actor has churned out unique subject in an opulent style. What is deserved to be better are the length, takings of the film, editing and music. He wins as a director but fails miserably as an actor.
Except for the title everything is fine in this film. Title is of the olden days but not the film. The audiences today are very sharp and intelligent. From the title they decide whether to buy a ticket or not. This type of title ‘Naanu Neenu Jodi’ explains everything for them.
